Care and Use
Site the lantern where the top panel gets a good stretch of direct daylight — the more sun it gets, the longer and brighter it runs. Give it a couple of full days in the sun before first use. Keep the solar panel clear of dust, leaves and snow so it can keep charging. IP44 means it copes with rain and frost but isn't designed to be submerged; in prolonged harsh weather you may prefer to bring it indoors. There are no bulbs to change — the LED is built in.
